Our BBQ Bonanza pizza starts with a Bakers Delight White Pizza Base made from the finest wheat flour. On top of that, we load up the pizza with a savoury combination of bacon, salami, and ham. The pièce de résistance is our tantalising BBQ sauce, adding that perfect touch of smoky sweetness. BBQ pizza was first made by Horest Coletta at Coletta’s, a restaurant in Memphis, USA. The restaurant, originally an ice-cream stand founded by Horest’s father in 1922, began serving pizza in the mid-1950s to cater to sailors stationed at the Memphis Naval Air Station. To appeal to locals, Coletta decided to top the pizza with a familiar food—barbecue. The combination was a hit, gaining popularity among locals and even catching the attention of music legend Elvis Presley, who became a fan of the BBQ pizza.
