Cheeseburger Slider Bake

FEATURING White Dinner Roll
Ingredients
12 rolls
4 cups grated cheddar cheese
500g beef mince
1 onion, diced
1 can of diced tomatoes, drained
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
6 strips of streaky bacon, diced
2 tbsp white sesame seeds
12 Bakers Delight Dinner Rolls
Topping
250g unsalted butter
¼ cup brown sugar
4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp Dijon mustard

Step 1
Pre-heat oven to 180°C

Step 2
In a large saucepan, cook bacon over high heat until crispy, remove from pan and set aside for later

Add the diced onion to the pan with the bacon fat and cook until translucent, 3-4 minutes. Add in mince, breaking it up and cook for 5-6 minutes or until some caramelisation has occurred. Stir in tomatoes, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper and simmer for 15 minutes

Without separating the rolls from each other, cut each 6 pack of rolls horizontally with a bread knife and place in a baking tray

Sprinkle half of the cheese over the base of the rolls. Spoon the mince evenly over the cheese then add the remainder of the cheese. Top with the roll lids

In a small saucepan, add all of the topping ingredients and cook over medium heat until incorporated together. Pour the butter mixture over the rolls and sprinkle with sesame seeds

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until rolls have browned on top and cheese has melted
