Banana, Honey & Cinnamon Sandwich Recipe

This creamy and nutritious sandwich is great for kids who love some variety in their lunchbox, while being super easy to make! Made on our new Hi-Fibre Lo-GI Wholemeal bread, it has double the fibre of our Hi-Fibre Lo-GI White, giving kids longer lasting energy, keeping them fuller for longer (and their gut healthy), while enjoying that great wholemeal taste.
The cream cheese adds a delicious smoothness, while being an important source of calcium for strong bones and teeth, while the banana not only tastes great, but provides long lasting energy. Combine this with a drizzle of honey and pinch of cinnamon to finish – delightful!

Ingredients
4 slices of Bakers Delight Hi-Fibre Lo-GI Wholemeal Loaf
2 heaped tablespoons of low-fat cream cheese
1 x large or 2 x small bananas, sliced
2 x teaspoons of honey (approximately)
Pinch of cinnamon

Step 1
In a bowl, mix the cream cheese with the back of a spoon to soften it, this will make it easier to spread. Once soft, spread across two slices of Hi-Fibre Lo-GI Wholemeal Loaf

Cover the cream cheese layer with sliced banana and sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon. Drizzle with honey and finish with the last slices of bread
