100g Kalamata olives
100g Greek feta

Method

    1. Step 1

      Pre-heat oven to 160°C

    2. Step 2

Place each Bakers Delight White Pizza Base on a lined baking tray. In a small bowl combine the crushed garlic & olive oil. Brush the garlic oil over the pizza bases and then place in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until golden. Cut each pizza base into 8 triangles

In a large shallow bowl start layering your dip. First spread your hummus around the bottom on the bowl creating a thin coating all the way around, next, gently spread the tzatziki on top of the hummus being carful not to mix them too much and leaving a boarder of hummus around the outside. on top of your dip scatter the cucumber, cherry tomatoes, onion & olives, then crumble over the feta and dress with an extra drizzle of olive oil

    4. Step 4

Serve your dip immediately with the warm garlic pizza triangles

FAQ’s

Should you cook garlic before putting on pizza?

If you use minced garlic, you don’t need to cook it before putting it on your pizza, as the small pieces will cook quickly in the oven. Great for entertaining as it’s on the table in a flash. Some prefer the taste of roasted garlic though, as it becomes sweeter, so if you want a softer flavour you can always roast a few cloves of garlic in the oven first.

Is chopped garlic good on pizza?

Chopped garlic is good on pizza, giving you a milder garlic flavour than when it’s minced, for example. This is because the flavour of garlic intensifies when you break the cell walls, and with chopping this happens less. It all depends on how you like it, so experiment and see what works best for you – the worst case scenario is that you get to eat lots of pizza!

What sauce is good to dip pizza in?

While our Greek dip is a definite crowd pleaser, there are plenty of other sauces that are also good for dipping pizza into. Creamy dips like garlic or ranch dressing add richness to any pizza, but a whole egg mayonnaise will give it an extra zing. For sweetness try BBQ sauce or even tomato sauce for a great Aussie twist, and if you like it hot you can’t go past sriracha.
