Pre-Apprenticeship Course

Bakers Delight offers many exciting roles and positions within our bakeries that can take you from an apprentice baker through to owning your very own bakery.

Not sure on the steps to take next or where or how to get started? Bakers Delight is looking for enthusiastic individuals with a can-do attitude who may be in search of their first job.

Perhaps a good place to start is engaging in a pre-apprenticeship course, or work experience program. The course is designed to provide you with invaluable experience where you can begin to learn the basics in bread production food safe and hygiene regulations, use of baking equipment, ingredient preparation and storage that’s suitable for a retail environment.

Undertaking the pre-apprenticeship course will provide you with:

• A nationally recognised qualification at Certificate II level
• The confidence to begin your baking apprenticeship
• Strong foundation skills to begin your career

This pre-apprenticeship course allows you to then transfer into a baking apprenticeship faster to become a qualified baker.
