Every year, over 20,000 Aussies will be diagnosed with breast cancer. A breast cancer diagnosis can be devastating and a time of confusion and fear. Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA) is there for these Aussies, working tirelessly to ensure they receive the very best care, treatment and support.
For 3 weeks every year in May, we donate 100% of all Fun Bun sales directly to BCNA! To help show support, we ask you our loyal customers to get down to your local bakery and get a round of Fun Buns to help team BCNA get around Aussie women and men affected by breast cancer.
The partnership between Bakers Delight and BCNA started in 2000, after Roger and Lesley Gillespie saw Lyn Swinburne speak at an event. Her vision was for no one to feel alone through their experience of breast cancer. The Gillespie’s asked Lyn how they could help with her and BCNA’s mission, and as they say the rest is history.
The annual Pink Bun campaign is just one of many ways our franchisees give back to their local community. Check out how some of our bakeries got behind BCNA in our 2024 Pink Bun Campaign!
Did you know you can show your support for Breast Cancer Network Australia all year round? $1 from all Tote Bag purchases will be donated to BCNA.
Head into your local bakery to grab your Tote Bag today! Only available at participating bakeries.
